The Best Films Of All Time From Director Wes Anderson

There is no doubt that Wes Anderson is quickly becoming one of the most popular directors in the movie industry. his oddball sense of humor and distinguishable style of directing is quickly moving him up the director ranks and helping him win fans the world over.

I have always been a fan of Wes Anderson, but have never stopped and taken a step back to look at all his movies. here are his best films so far.

One movie that definitely makes the cut is the Darjeeling Limited. Maybe I am biased because I just got back from India, but I thought this movie was great for many reasons, one being that it shows the landscape outside of the major Indian cities.

Another very popular Wes Anderson movie is the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. In this movie, Bill Murray stars as an eccentric sea captain on the hunt for a mythical sea creature, along with his trusty shipmates.

I’m not sure if Rushmore was Jason Schwartzman’s first movie, but it was definitely one that established him as great comedic personality in my mind. this is a hilarious film, even if at times it might not mean to be. I’m sure it means to be.

Another film that definitely makes the list for me is the Royal Tenenbaums, which is arguably Wes Anderson’s most successful film to date. I haven’t checked on the box office numbers of his movies, but I would imagine that either the fantastic mr. Fox or the Royal Tenenbaums is at the top of the list in that respect.

One other movie that certainly is worthy of praise is Bottle Rocket. this movie was Anderson’s first full length feature and is without a doubt the movie that put him on the map. Owen Wilson and Luke Wilson are amazing in this movie.

With at least one other film in production at the moment, I am hopeful that we will have many more great films from this great director before all is said and done.
