E. Jane Liebig 88, Keyser E. Jane Liebig, 88, of Lynmar Street, Keyser, WV, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at her residence. Born on  December 24, 1922 at Cincinnati, OH, she was a daughter of the late Henry Blaine and Leila Olivia (Jones) Dawson. she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Brian Carl Liebig. Mrs. Liebig attended Potomac State College from 1970-75 and graduated in 2000. she was a member of the Keyser Presbyterian Church and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority since 1945. she was also a member of the Paddytown Red Hat Ladies and the American Field Service since 1966, serving as president and area representative. she also served on the board of directors of both the Developmental Center and Workshop and Highland Arts Unlimited. Surviving are her husband, Carl a. Liebig, M.D.; three sons, Carl W. Liebig, M.D. of Bridgeport, WV, Paul a. Liebig and wife Rita of Keyser and Craig a. Liebig, O.D. and wife Gail, of Bridgeport; two daughters, Pamela Jane Nagel of Berlin, Germany and Carol Ann Marsh and husband Timothy of Buckhannon, WV; one sister, Dorothy Hoffman of Cincinnati; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer Shanley and husband Tom, Teresa Lunsford and husband Dave, Stephanie Storti and husband John, III, Christopher Liebig, M.D. and wife Julie, Janina Nagel, Dawn Liebig, Erica Liebig Pritts, Julie Beth Bosley and husband Devin, Janee' Junkins, Jesse Liebig and Traci Liebig and 11 great-grandchildren, Trent and Sara Shanley, Vincent, Marissa and John Storti, IV, Zachary and Matthew Lunsford, Carter Fisher, Landon and Harper Bosley and Aiden Purrington. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Karen Long officiating. Entombment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Keyser. the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to either the American Field Service, Keyser Chapter, c/o Dr. Harry Boggs, 8. N. Main Street Keyser, WV 26726 or to Highland Arts Unlimited, P.O. Box 63 Keyser, WV 26726. the family would like to thank our three special "angels," Joyce Iser, Sarah Harris and Mary Kesner for their loving, compassionate care of Jane during her last months. the three of you made a very difficult time more bearable.
