KUALA LUMPUR: top South Korean band Girls’ Generation will make its debut in Malaysia at the Twin Towers@Live 2012 concert here on Friday.
The nine-member group is also referred to as SoShi or SNSD by fans.
The group’s 2009 hit single Gee holds the record for being the longest running no 1 song on KBS Music Bank, staying at the top for nine consecutive weeks. Gee was named Song of the Decade by the South Korean music site Melon.
The K-pop sensation will be joined by Nicole Scherzinger, the former lead singer of the sizzling Pussycat Dolls.
