The American Justice System and Casey Anthony

Mrs. Anthony was found not guilty, case closed. in the American Justice System, a defendant can’t be tried twice for the same crime, it is called Double Jeopardy. with this being said, she is now a free woman. after all those years of being locked up, the case and all of its unholy and monstrous details are a thing of the past. Are they completely gone? I don’t think so, the ghost of her daughter will forever haunt America. Anytime a child is intentionally hurt or killed, it is a travesty. Even the quietest person, would showcase their most angry behavior.

It didn’t take the jury long to reach a conclusion. Even though, it was reported that the discussion was heated behind closed doors, they did reach a conclusion. from the Chloroform, to the remains being in the car, it was enough to convict this young lady. Florida is not known for being lenient on criminals, so during the trial, business returned to business for most Florida people and the Anthony trial was their real-life Jerry Springer show. Yet, the horrible thing that happened to this child, was something that no one in America was ready for. not Guilty, echoed through out the courtroom. the verdict was indicative of the leniency of the Jury.

I wonder, if Mrs. Anthony had looked like Foxy Brown, without a perm, would she have been acquitted. not to turn this into race thing, but these type of situations raise a lot of question. from Asha Degree to Zahra Baker, the crimes against children percentage has quickly risen in the last few years. these type of incidents are just a few examples of what is wrong with America. a Young Mom, who can’t handle her kids, kills them, what a disgrace. There are couples who spend their entire lives just waiting on one baby, too bad, the mothers who get them can’t handle the responsibility. what is the world coming to?
