Wale readies ‘Ambition’ for release – TheNext2Shine:Exclusive RNB Music Downloads

Wednesday night, Warner Bros./Maybach Music Group artist WALE celebrated the impending release of his sophomore effort, “Ambition“, with fans and industry elite with a listening session in New York City. he previewed multiple tracks from his album, which is highly anticipated after his signing to Rick Ross‘ MMG imprint earlier this year. many have been wondering if Wale‘s conscience lyricism and poetic technique would sustain itself amongst artists whose subject matter didn’t quite match his.

Yes, “Ambition” is much different from Wale‘s debut release, “Attention Deficit“, but it’s more so due to growth rather than his musical surroundings changing. in the intro, “Don’t Hold your Applause”, Wale explains this as a note to listeners who may have a hesitant demeanor towards his music previously. he doesn’t want anyone to be put off by his label change and readies everyone for the ride “Ambition” takes you on.

With a varied assortment of material like the recently released “Slight Work” featuring Def Jam artist Big Sean, the Lloyd-assisted “Sabotage” – which Wale quickly named as one of his favorites and is based on a now defunct relationship – and “Legendary” (probably the most lyrical track of the album), Wale showcases his ability to remain himself while adapting to a new style his affiliation with Rick Ross‘ label now brings. Fellow label mate Meek Millz makes an appearance on the album, as well as Kid Cudi whom he had a brief spat with but resolved things with earlier this year.

Wale celebrated with friends Jim Jones, Fabolous, radio personalities (DJ Envy, Angie Martinez, Angela Yee), and fellow Roc Nation artists J. Cole and Bridget Kelly. a great time was had by all, especially the DMV-bred rapper whose own ambition has led him to this great accomplishment.

Ambition” is available for pre-order on iTunes and Amazon and will be available at stores everywhere on 11/1/11.

Franck Ribery has closed the door on a move to the Premier League by admitting he wants to finish his career at Bayern Munich.

Ribery has been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United despite being under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2015.

But the 28-year-old France winger has no intention of leaving Germany and said: ‘This is perfect for me here. I can picture myself staying at Bayern forever. If my body allows it I will be 35 and still playing here.’

Happy days: Winger Franck Ribery does not want to leave Bayern Munich

The Frenchman signed from Marseille in 2007 and won the Double in his first season.

He is recapturing that form under Jupp Heynckes after falling out with Bayern’s previous coach Louis van Gaal.

In with the boss: Ribery is enjoying playing for coach Jupp Heynckes

Ribery, with five goals and a host of assists this season, added in Bild newspaper: ‘I am the old Ribery again.

‘Van Gaal constantly told me what to do but I know how I should move.

‘Heynckes explains to me how I can become better but without issuing orders. ‘We laugh and work. I hope he stays here for a long time.’
